about Tentora

For banquets, come to Tentora!
It's a completely private room, so you can relax without worrying about other customers.

We opened our restaurant in Mototanaka immediately after the war, and for over 60 years it has been loved by students and teachers in Kyoto, including famous Nobel Prize winners! We only use ingredients that you can enjoy with peace of mind, such as vegetables that can be refilled freely and meat that is carefully selected and produced in Japan. The tatami rooms and completely private rooms allow you to relax without worrying about other customers. Limited to a maximum of 6 groups per day, you can use the service until closing without any replacement. For banquets such as schools and companies, etc...

Buta chiri (pork quadrilateral hot pot)

Enjoy it lightly with ponzu sauce.

Mizutaki (boiled in plain water pot)

The flavor of the meat, such as chicken or pork, oozes out into the broth, and the vegetables go well with it.

It's a Kansai-style sukiyaki that has a simple, traditional flavor without any unnecessary ingredients.

Yosenabe (mixed stew)

Enjoy a hot pot filled with various ingredients such as chicken, pork, seafood, etc. with ponzu sauce.

Kimchi hot pot (Korean pickle hot pot)

Recommended not only in winter but also in summer, kimchi nabe has a spicy yet sweet flavor that warms the body from the core.

Chanko nabe (sumo wrestlers' stew)

The chanko nabe is made with a miso base topped with our signature Tsukune (chicken meatballs) and lots of sesame seeds, so you can eat it all the way to the end.

Shabu-shabu (Japanese hot pot)

We use odorless beef, so even those who don't like beef can enjoy the sweetness of the meat.

Oki chiri (seafood quadrilateral hot pot)

This is a luxurious hot pot made with plenty of seasonal seafood.

Hamo shabu (sea eel Japanese hot pot)
